Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, BHANJANAGAR
The Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, Bhanjanagar started with its baby steps on 20-07-1990 in a thatched house near Gita Bhaban. It was the 61st SSVM in Odisha under the Saraswati Sishu Mandira Yojana. Now the number of SSVMs in Odisha has crossed the one thousand mark. Since then, there has been no looking back. Throughout its journey, the school has experienced zealousy, conspiracy and many obstacles and upheaveals but has been able to successfully withstand the withering passing storms and stand on its own. In the year 1995, the school shifted to its own campus built on its own land. Some adjacent lands have been taken on long term lease for use as playground and other purposes. Our school is now a full-fledged institution imparting academic, cultural and physical education to more than 1200 students. Our teaching and non-teaching staff give their best to provide the best possible environment for our students to excel in their areas of interest. The school celebrated its silver jubilee year in 2015 after completion of 25 successful years of its existence.
